Sellers listing one product in more than one place

Which preset for which platform

The image each platform needs, its size, and the Marketing Studio preset that makes it — for TikTok Shop, Instagram, Meta ads, your own website, Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify.

What you end up with

A full set of images for every place your product is sold — a compliant main image, the secondary shots, social posts and a website banner — each made from the preset built for that job, with the product identical in every one.

Amazon, TikTok Shop and Instagram keep their rules behind a seller login or pages that could not be read, so those rows come from seller-tool sources that agree with each other — check them in your own seller dashboard before a big upload. Website sizes are common practice rather than rules; the link-preview size is the Open Graph standard most sites use.

  1. Start with the main image

Every marketplace leads with one plain shot of the product on its own, and it is the one with rules. Use the White background preset with your product in the Product tile. Amazon wants the background pure white, not nearly white, and the product filling most of the frame — check the edges before you upload.

  2. Fill the secondary slots

Amazon allows up to nine images and TikTok Shop nine, and the ones after the first are where you sell. Lifestyle shows it in use, Detail close-up shows the material, Scale answers "how big is it", In the box shows what arrives, and Feature callouts labels what it does — give it the exact words to use.

  3. Make the social set

Instagram and Meta ads read best at 4:5 in the feed and 9:16 for Stories and Reels. Flat lay, Unboxing and Review make feed posts; UGC makes the upright, phone-shot version for Stories. Each preset starts at the right size, so there is nothing to crop.

  4. Make the website set

A site needs more than a hero. Banner makes the 16:9 home page hero, with the left side kept calm for a headline; Collection header makes the thin 21:9 strip above a product grid; and the product pages take the same White background, Lifestyle and Detail shots as a marketplace listing.

  5. Keep it one project

Start from Marketing Studio and every image lands in one project folder. Switch presets inside the Workbench rather than starting again, and the whole set — main image, secondaries, social, banner — stays together in Assets, ready to download.

  6. Check before you upload

Marketplace rules change, which is why the table carries the date it was checked. Confirm the main image rules in your own seller dashboard, and read the current TikTok Shop policy on AI-generated images before listing — seller guides report it now asks for a label.
