How long do you keep my uploaded files?
Your files and canvases are kept for as long as your account is open. We don't expire, purge, or clean up files on our end — they're there whenever you come back. When you close your account, they're permanently deleted from our storage.Full retention schedule in our Privacy Policy→
Do you train AI on my data, or sell it?
No. Clear Cortex does not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train any models of our own. Your chats and files are sent to the AI model providers that power the platform solely to generate your results, under their API terms.
Can I export my data and take it with me?
Yes — your work is yours to take. Download your outputs, images, files and audio directly from the canvas, and pull original documents back out of any DataStore, anytime. Nothing is trapped on the platform.
Do I need a subscription to run a workflow?
No. Workflows are pay as you go — create a free account, top up a small amount of credits, and each run shows its price before you press Run. A subscription only comes in when you want the full AI Workspace.
How does billing work — will I get multiple invoices?
One login, one invoice, one pot of credit. Every model and every modality — chat, image, audio, code — draws from the same budget, so there's nothing to reconcile across providers and no per-seat juggling.
Can I cancel anytime, and are fees refundable?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.Fees and billing in our Terms→
