What Seedance 2.0 is for

  • Long clips at full resolution — it is the only model here that does 4K and runs past 8 seconds.
  • Every whole second from 4 to 15, rather than a fixed set of three lengths.
  • Holding a look across shots: up to four reference images, which only the two Seedance models accept.
  • Ultrawide and vertical formats — 21:9 and 9:21 alongside the usual four.

When not to use it

Seedance is billed per video token, so the cost moves with resolution as well as length. When you need the price settled before the job runs, Kling 3.0 Standard charges one flat rate per second at its single resolution.

All seven take a first frame and a last frame, and all seven can generate audio with the clip, so neither is a column. “Clip length” is the span the model accepts — Veo takes only 4, 6 or 8 seconds inside its range, the rest take every whole second. “Billed” is the unit the provider charges in: a per-second model's cost is settled before the job runs, a per-token model's moves with the resolution you pick as well as the length.
